Husband

Assalamualaikum

Hi. Sebab tengah merindui suami, jadi nak citer pasal Encik Rashid tu.

Most people know him by the name Azrul. Which is a part of his name. His full name is Azrul Amirul Rashid. Haa amekaw. Kikiki. Dulu2 selalu kena buli dgn saya sebab nama dia Rashid. Sampai kan pernah beli memo bertulis Rashid utk dia. Dia mcm tak rela je terima. Haha.

Kawan2 matrik & kawan sekolah dia panggil dia Angah. Sebab family panggil Angah. Dulu masa kitorg berkawan lepas percintaan pause, saya nk panggil dia angah, dia tak bagi. Haha. Ada lagi nickname dia. Banyak sangat. -.-"

Pastu sejak kawin ni sudah menjadi Abang la. Dan Ayah. Hehe. Kadang2 baby tua sebab perangai sama macam Zahra. XD

Selalu Azrul akan cakap, saya sama macam dia. Selalu jugak saya tanya ape benda yg sama. Dia cuma sengih je. Sejak 10 tahun dulu macam tu lah. Truth is, nobody has ever looked at me the way he looks at me. Over ten years. Still.

The things that i figured might be similar to him, spongebob. We quote spongebob. And game of thrones. And breaking bad. And 9gag. We love muse. And coldplay. And system of a down. And he likes eminem because i do (he even can rap his songs).

Other things yg similar kena tanya dia. Sebab dia cuma akan sengih je bila i did something or said something yg dia rasa suka or find similar to him. My husband has always been that cute.

Ps: FIL is home. Dinnerrrr

Assalamualaikum~

I have a few minutes of free time. Zahra is sleeping and husband is out playing futsal with his kampung mates.

I'd like to write about our wedding day. I think it deserve a whole post. Not because it was extravagant (because it was definitely was not) but because of the kind hearted people i met along the way to make it happen.

First of all, you must know that we planned it many months before the day that we wanted something small. Something for friends and family. Something memorable because of the efforts all of us put and not the quantity or how it would look in the picture. Because in the end, this happen. We only remember the people in it. And not the detailed flowers on the sides of our chairs.

The attires
He decided he wanted his mom to sew his white baju melayu. With small amount of sulam at the neck and along where the buttons stay (you get what i mean right? Haha. Btw my MIL is a very talented tailor. One baju kurung upah RM25 only! Where got in other parts of Malaysiaaa). My dress was rented. It was a cream-colored one piece dress (i was angry at myself for letting hubby bought the kain for his baju melayu first because i was struggling to find the white dresssss where gottt). Anyway, we only rented a few things. A dress, 3 dulang hantarans, his accesories like keris whatever but he never used them and my accesories. My reason for renting the dress was because i wouldnt know what to do with a white kurung if i ever made one. Plus, the upah for beading etc will cost us more i think. Too many things to do, i didnt want to mess with my sanity at that time. But i requested a fresh bouquet of purple daisies (i love daisies and hubby knows since 2004 but i didnt get the correct color but whatever right? They were daisies for crying out loud).

The pelamin
This is where the part get interesting. We didnt get a pelamin from the bridal. I eas particularly grinding my brain liquid trying to make it happen ( i mean diy everything? When you have zero knowledge of at least make pom pom flowers). And Allah sent us Sir Isma & Kak Da. They were our super heroes. Everything they touch went amazing like for realll. Well, they owned a bridal together so no wonder la kan. But they never asked for even one cent but for us to be happy until we die. Btw they are my mom's best friends. My mom has the bestest friends in the world. For the pelamin, hubby requested white purple theme. We put pinches of purple in the sea of whites around the area. White drapes, whitel lights. But purple flowers. Simple simple things. And alhamdulillah everything turned out great. Very simple but nice. He bought two small treasure box where we can put things in side but we can sit on it because it has cussion on, and then we put dark purple cloth on it. Super cheap. Haha. Hubby bought 2 fairy lights but only 1 worked but we put it anyway because i saw it on pinterest and i think it would look better if there were 2 but what to do right? And then the A ♡ A letters that we bought together in KL. We never used them! Haha. But it was in the picture somewhere. It is not entirely waste of money because we can put it in our house later. They were made of wood and black in color btw.

The food
This section was handled by dearest mommy. Mom is a monster in making sure guests are full. As for the cake, mom bought a 2 tier cake with ANA TRUE LOVE written on them. Hehe.

The doorgift
This section was entirely sponsored by my sister and her husband. Thank you booboooo! The doorgift was a simple mini tepak sireh made of clay and candies. For the in laws, we put a jar of rainbow cakes in each bag. The rainbow cakes were baked by Kemma. Which was super yummy. Im still drooling. Thank you Kemma. And lastly we stashed everything in purple paper bags with custom stickers. Tada. Just that.

The family
Im forever in debt with my mom, my aunts and uncles and importantly my siblings for making sure everything went smooth. For taking our pictures. Actually Sir Isma also acted as the photographer. Thank you sir. All of them were my anchors. They took care of Zahra. Took care of the food coming out, filling the trays and giving the doorgifts. Kudos baby sisters and baby brothers.

Other special things
My daddy came home. Which was a major deal. Cik Zah & Izzul who came to help even we just asked them to come and eat but they helped around a lot especially when Zahra was crying. And the guests. Thank you for the presents and prayers. We pray the same for all of you.

This is by far the longest post. Haha. Ok then see you guys later.

Ps: we went to a kenduri earlier, MIL and adik. Tomorrow adik will be leaving for his school. I hope i can snatch my husband's shirt and tag along. Haha kbai

The lullaby

Assalamualaikum~

Actual happiness could mean listening to Azrul's snores right beside me. And Zahra's hand touching me while she sleeps right on the other side.

I sleep in between them. Contrary to your assumption that im getting the most space, im not. Zahra is conquering the whole bed. And my husband sleeps like a log. I will be awake at night trying to find a comfortable position which mostly will be me sleeping on my arms. Im starting to get used to that.

Ps: currently living with the in laws got us very much closer alhamdulillah. My mom in law and i are literally best friends. Hee.

Its a hot night

Assalamualaikum

Hi. Im wide awake. And im lying between hubby & zahra. Hubby is snoring. Haha

Thought i could write a few thoughts tonight. But the words wont come out. I blame nasi pakapow. Idk how they're spelt. That is my husband's favourite nasi goreng from kedai iki. I like it too. Yum yum. Sooo, im just too full.

Long story short, husband is home. He cancelled kerteh & miri. Means, he is all mine until weekend. Heee. Alhamdulillah.

Ps: i asked him to buy the pregnancy test kit and he only read the text once he reached home. -.- but he's excited too. Maybe tomorrow. Pray for us. InsyaAllah

Ramblings

Assalamualaikum

Live update.

I just had supper with mother-in-law. She was making apam. And both of us were hungry. Arysh joined us. Ate apam. And nasi.

Zahra is sleeping. Arysh pushed her earlier. Adik ran after him. Mil and fil scolded arysh and he was crying his eyes out. As for zahra, she fell from the bed. Making it twice she hit her head tonight.

Hubby is on his way home. With aizat, his colleague. He left something at home. He was already in Gambang. I think he will be here any minute now.

I miss hubby already. I dont know. Maybe its a good thing he's coming home. Even in such urgency. Maybe i can steal a kiss or two. Hee.

Anyway, he'll be in kerteh by tomorrow insyaAllah. And he'll be home on Friday i suppose. And zahra and i will be waiting for him patiently here at his parent's place. Things is, we already found a place. Which is super convenient for him to go work. Safe insyaAllah. And close to a mall. InsyaAllah we'll be moving in next month. Alhamdulillah we have already bought the furnitures. There are just a few essential things left to buy.

In the mean time, im staying here, learning how to cook with the masterchef, MIL. You should taste my MIL's dishes. They're all so tasty im in so much trouble trying to at least be half as good as that. T.T

Till then.

Ps: both zahra and i arent feeling so well. I puked in the shower. Bun?? Huhu
