Assalamualaikum
Finally finished watching the first season. Hubby ruined most of the episodes by spilling spoilers like seriously baby whyyy. But that didnt change the fact that it was an awesome show. Looking forward for the next season. Even though i will miss Rust and Marty a lot.
The series have this poetic, mind blowing catchy phrases. Mostly by Rust. I love them all. Rust was more like a tortured poet than a cop. Lol
Anyway, here is my favourite dialogue of the whole series:-
“It’s just one story: the oldest, light versus dark,” says Cohle, vulnerable in a way we’ve never seen before.
“I know we ain’t in Alaska ”says Marty, with newfound grit. “But it appears to me that the dark has a lot more territory.”
“You’re looking at it wrong, once there was only dark,” Cohle replies. ” If you ask me, the light’s winning.”
It was bromance and happy ending. Weehoo. Ok back to boring no more good movies to watch. *Snores.
Ps: it is almost march. Zahra will turn 1! Ohmai ohmai. What is a perfect gift for her? A gold necklace? A three wheel bike? A barbie house? Whatttttt
